Charlie Buckholtz is a writer and rabbi in New York City's East Village. Jon Madof is a guitarist and composer in New York. He leads the 'Jewish power trio' Rashanim and has recorded several CDs for John Zorn's Tzadik Records. He has performed and/or recorded with artists including Zorn, Marc Ribot, Matisyahu, and Frank London. Jon also composes music for film and television.
